Are you taking Dexter to the vet along with the stool sample? If not I think it is important for him to see the vet too as he could be dehydrated after several days of diarrhea and it could also be determined whether or not he is running a fever, etc.
Hoping he is feeling better soon. Please keep us posted!
I know what this is like as we had a similar episode with Boris at around the same age. I will be watching for updates and hoping for the best.
Thanks for the update...hoping things get better for Dexter.
So relieved to hear the parvo was neg and we hope Dexter has a speedy recovery. Parvo is always a big concern in a puppy and of course that's where my mind went when I read his symptoms.
So glad - hoping that the medicine will do it's trick! Hope Dexter feels better soon!!!!!
Poor baby, hope he feels better very soon. It seems that some puppies just HAVE to go through this. We had at least a couple of episodes like this with Monty. It always happened over the weekend, so we had to rush him to the emergency vet...and that was before I had pet insurance.
In any case, feel better Dexter. We'll be waiting for an update tomorrow.
Hoping Dexter feels better soon!
Thanks for the update! So glad to hear he doesn't have parvo. I hope the meds help and he is feeling better soon.
Hoping for a speedy recovery.
So glad it is not Parvo. I am sending thoughts for a speedy recovery.
I hope that Dexter feels better soon. Please keep us posted.
