Things are really popping in the garden right now. So much foliage and so many flowers.

I have had azaleas, which are now fading:

and then there are the rhododendrons just getting going:

The weigela:

and there are columbines:

I have roses just starting and clematis too. So lets keep this thread going. What's blooming in your garden?

Beautiful Blooms! I've seen weigela in bush form, never a tree. Love it!

Lucy ~ beautiful photos!  Love your little doodle welcome sign too!  I recently found the cutest windchime that looks like a doodle too!  See upper left hand corner:

Sheri, you are just like me!  I have plants outside that I have no clue what they are except pretty!  I need to go out and take some pics.  Please, please join the Photography Group.  Not everyone is a pro -- certainly not me!!  Let's watch and learn together!

Sheri, your pictures are great and that Lilac tree is gorgeous!

Got a few more photos of the garden today.

Shasta Daisy

Golden Chain Tree

Mountain Laurel

Iris

More Peonies

Beautiful photos of beautiful flowers. I love your iris. Have you ever gone to the Presby Iris gardens in Montclair? They have so many varieties. You are way ahead of me. Here is my old fashioned Mountain Laurel in bud today.

I've never heard of the Presby Iris gardens, will look it up. I love iris and have only three varieties, but would like to get more. One is already past bloom, too late for photos. Your mountain laurel looks so fresh and about to burst! Crazy how far ahead we are here, we don't live that far apart!

True it's not far but I'm usually behind places that are quite nearby. This is a valley and often a tad cooler.

Just checked their website, what a place! and they sell the plants too!

Funny, I was just checking their website too. I haven't been there is some time. The site was interesting with bloom updates and a webcam--not much can be seen in the dark : )

I love shasta daisies.  I need to get some planted.  They do great in MS.  The Mountain Laurel and Golden Chain are beautiful and unique.  I would love to have them but I don't imagine they would do well in the heat.

Wow, Janie!  Your garden is beautiful and your pics really show it!
