Wow! Look at all the beautiful pieces you've done!
I would love to see these painting become a story book.
I agree! That would be lovely! :)
I especially love the lighthouse!
Laura, your art work is lovely. I love your colors, which are so fresh and pure! I tend to make mud on a lot of my pictures. Keep up the good work!
Canvas mounts? I can kind of see the wrapped edges, but do you go directly from Adobe Photoshop to the printer?
I would love to be able to paint straight to canvas! I tried it once, a few years ago, and it was terrifying but fun! I'm getting the itch to try it again...
It is a little different painting directly to canvas and printing an altered photo on canvas. I am not enough of an artist to paint directly on canvas. Of course some people print their photo (or copy of a painting) and then take the canvas and paint on top of the photo or painting. There is a great photo artist in this area who paints over his photographs. Ever hear of Kim Weston? He is the grandson of Ed Weston. I'm sure you have heard of him.
I got into the printing on canvas before I even got into the art. I would take a photo and print it any size on a canvas and then mount the canvas. Now I am trying to do some art on the photo before printing it. I use Adobe Photoshop to work on the photo and make changes (and also Corel Painter). It has been my goal this year and I am not there yet, but hopefully by the end of summer! It is my retirement dream to be able to take a photo (preferably my dogs) and make it into a painting and then print it.
Nice! Love the red flowers. :)
Very cool....
