Things are really popping in the garden right now. So much foliage and so many flowers.

I have had azaleas, which are now fading:

and then there are the rhododendrons just getting going:

The weigela:

and there are columbines:

I have roses just starting and clematis too. So lets keep this thread going. What's blooming in your garden?

Thank you Doris! I've been loving your flower photos too!!

What's blooming in Germany? after a cold and rainy May, flowers are starting to show -

Irises with doodle

irises without doodle

poppies on the meadow with tiny fig tree

weird but cute: the neighbors baby lama - vineyard in the back

don't know whtat this is - but a nice splash of color

wine is starting to climb up the pergola

and finally, strawberries! only 8 plants, though - not expecting a huge crop

Thanks for sharing what's blooming so far away. It seems you are on about the same schedule as here in New Jersey.

I love seeing a little bit of Germany and all that blooms, keep them coming Your doodle is adorable!

Great pictures Karina and your Doodle in the garden is adorable!  What is the name of that Iris?  They are gorgeous!

Hello,

thank you - Billy surely enjoys the garden.

The Iris is named 'Kupferhammer’ (created by D Arends in 1930).

It is a great time in the garden, so many things blooming.

Roses, wild Carefree Wonder

Pope John Paul ll

Clematis

Mountain Laurel

Tradescantia

How could I forget honeysuckle.

Gorgeous! Love your roses and well everything! The tradescantia is new to me, is it a bulb? Beautiful little flowers! Sometimes the smallest little flower can have so much detail on it, nature is amazing.

Thanks. Tradescantia is not a bulb but a perennial with roots. It gets a bit floppy and the flowers close later in the day but I like it. The first one I got I dug up on a country roadside. Any time you are in the neighborhood you are welcome to some of mine : ) When I was looking up a reference for you I was fascinated by the bioassay quality mentioned.

I like them too! Tom says we need to plant them and if they turn pink, we're outta here!! lol  So interesting, who knew!

Lovely photos. My doodles eat grass and sticks. I have many plants that oils not be good foe the but luckily they have no interest in them.
