I was wondering if I could get some opinions about buying Frontline online. My vet has asked me not to do this because she doesn’t trust getting the proper dose for their weight. What does everyone think? Have you had an experience like that? Is there a better place online than another to buy Frontline? Do you have a better solution for controlling fleas?
All ears over here….

I get mine at either JeffersPet.com or PetEdge.com -- I've also heard that Petshed.com has great prices and I know a few happy with what they get---lots of dogs, no fleas.
Just found this coupon online if you get Frontline from your vet.

Yes, I agree! As long as you have the dogs CURRENT weight, there is no reason why you shouldn't be able to buy it online and save a few bucks. I plan on doing it too:-))
Thanks for the comments and the online stores to check out. I did look earlier today and found it cheapest of the ones listed above at petshed. I will check out the other places and see if they are any better. I feel better about buying online now!
I bought a 6 pack on Amazon for the price of the 3 pack at my Vet. Vets just want to keep the money in house. It was the same packaging and warning leaflets inside. There is a pet store here Wildside Pets that sells it cheaper than my Vet. I am all about saving money.
My vet told me, Find the site - print it out and she will match the price!
Definitely check out Amazon. I have found they are cheaper by far on all items carried for dogs, and most things qualify for the free shipping! Diane at www.delawarevalleylabradoodles.com
I use Revolution and have been very satisfied. Bella has had no side effects. It is for fleas, ticks, mites, and heartworms. It also is in an alcohol base, so it does not make that yucky greasy spot like Frontline or Advantage. I did a lot of research plus my sister had her dogs on it since it came out years ago and had no problems. I asked my vet about it during the start of puppy shots and he said he recommends the frontline and heartguard. I asked him why and he said that he thought the frontline works better on fleas. I went ahead and put her on Revolution anyway especially with the price being the same as frontline plus she is covered for heartworms. Well I live in the south where fleas are an issue and the Revolution has worked great for me. I kinda think it might be that the vets like selling you two products. You can save even more online.
I had no idea about Revolution covering heartworm too. I just bought some more of the Frontline from Petshed but I think I will take a look at that as soon as I run out. Thanks.
I bought some Frontline online and it was sooooo much cheaper! BUT, I laughed when I saw that the 'directions' were in another language and not in English. The package had the weights listed, not in pounds. The invoice did though and I had used it before so I knew what I was doing. But it is funny, sometimes the discount is meaningful, I guess. If I were a first time user I would have been very upset!
