Hello everyone!
I'm freaking out.
I dropped Henna at daycare (Dogtopia, with great recommendations....) but when I got her back, I saw a few little bugs in her hair. there are also some very small black particles that I'm assuming are flea eggs (?).
I'm taking her to the vet today, but I have lost my trust in vets since they will try to promote certain brands regardless of the effectiveness of the medicine.
Can you please help me decide which brand to go with? Frontline? Advantage? K9 Advantix? Biospot?
I'm sure this topic has come up before but I'm freaking out right now, so I thought I would ask you guys... THANKS!

I've had good results with Frontline Plus.
The black spots are flea "dirt". The eggs are white. (Typically, it's known as "salt & pepper", and if you see that anywhere, especially in areas where the dog spends a lot of time, it's a sure sign you have a flea infestation.)
I use Frontline Plus, I've been using it for years, and it's kept my pets free of fleas.
I use Frontline Plus also and have never seen a flea on my dog!
We dealt with fleas a couple of summers ago. We switched from Frontline Plus to Vectra 3D with great results
Good luck
I use Frontline Plus. If you want to kill the fleas immediately, you could use a flea shampoo.
Next time, no daycare without flea prevention already applied! Charlie's daycare requires it of all dogs, and yours should too! Dogs are also checked before they enter. Not that it will prevent every flea, but it goes a long way.
Yes, definitely use prevention before daycare! Our daycare requires it and does checks too, but the prevention will go a long way. We use Frontline Plus as well. Use plain blue dawn and leave it on for 5 minutes to kill the fleas that are currently on her and use a flea comb to get rid of eggs.
