Desperation call from lady being evicted. Her mother has the 3 lb poodle and is keeping it outside. OY! Hawks, owls, coyotes. I agreed to take it unseen. She brought Mr. PoPo over. He’s about 7 months, approx 3 lbs. He doesn’t look like any poodle I’ve ever met, but what could I do. I took him. What breed to you think he is?
His coat is so straight. I never saw one like that. Maybe I'll try clipping his face tomorrow & see what's there. thx & puppy love from JOy & furry folk
give him a bath and see if he curls up.
.what a great change from such big dogs...lol watch your feet he could get squished real quick, from you all not being used to small puppies around your toes!!
instead of the nail polish for his nose...i would get a blinker, so you can see him...ha ha
Actually, I have some blinkers. I better cover him in Xmas lights all over hehe! I think your right. I'll try bathing him & see if he curls up. His mom sent over so many conditioners, maybe his hair is straight from them. Actually, I do rescue small dogs so I'm kind of used to them. But usually not THAT small! PUppy love from Joy & furry folk
Hi J, No I'm going to place him. Owners have moved into no dog housing. There's so many of those now. Can you imagine that little thing being left outside? No only from predators but it has actually dropped below freezing in San Diego. PUppy love from Joy & furry folk
I'd say a yorkie-poo; definitely not pure-bred toy poodle, judging by the ears, eyes, & coat. Maybe even chihuahua-poodle mix. How kind of you to take him in, Joy.

Looks like a little toy poodle who is glad to be out of the cold! Tell Mr. PoPo what I tell my little rescue...there is an advantage to us not knowing the parentage...it gives them the opportunity to be whatever they want to be!! Some days my little "Anya" is a calm little lap dog...some days a hyper Jack Russell and on her tougher days a pit bull!!
