Our doodle when in the backyard sometimes will run in circles at full speed, and sometimes will trip and do a summer sault! The first time she did this I was concerned for her safety, but now I know it is just something she does. It is just too funny to watch.
Yes, I have a very wild and crazy doodle....she'll run around the backyard at full speed with her big back paws touching her ears while running at full stride....she will also do sumersaults, or, "wipeouts" as I call them.....she also runs in circles chasing her tail.....not sure if that's normal, or not..?
My son just taught her how to do " high 5 "...and it's adorable...!
A Doodle at full run is really pretty. As Holly is getting older and her legs are getting longer, she can really cover some ground. Her long legs go flying out and she is changing from an awkward puppy to a graceful adolescent.
We have a sign on our fence that was left over from our German Shepherd mix. The sign shows the profile of a Genman shepherd and says, "I can make it to the fence in 3.5 seconds! can you?"
We have left the sign up because it discourages unwanted trespassers. Wouldn't a trespasser be surprised if Holly chased him to lick him to death?
Barney does the same thing! I swear while he's running with his mouth wide open, he's smiling at the same time. He also loves to chase his tail at a very high speed, then collapses because his head is spinning. So entertaining.
Stella is VERY clumsy. I swear sometimes she is just standing there and falls over! I need to add the video of her playing with our friends big Lab/Rottie mix and how she just gets bulled over.
