Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
I went away for 5 days and when I came home it seemed my little girl was growing up so fast. I left her with DH and was worried when I came home she would be a Daddies girl, but not to worry, she is still a Mommies girl! Miss AnnaBelle is now 4 months (or 18 weeks). She weighs a whopping 25.5 lbs. She was 22 lbs at 16 weeks so we are projecting her to be somewhere between 44 and 54 lbs. That would make her the slightest bit smaller than Sophie but we think she is going to be a little taller as those legs seem to go on forever. The puppy teeth have already started coming out. The nipping is minimal to non existant now. I think next to her sweet English Golden face, her paws and tail are my favorite parts about her. She and Lucy are finally becoming great friends. Still some food issues with Lucy, but that's ok. I think she will eventually get used to that as well. Lucy gets more exercise now than ever. AnnaBelle is pretty much just Monkey see Monkey do as she just follows Lucy's lead in pretty much everything. AnnaBelle's personality is so different than either of the others. She must be close to you where ever you are. Lucy and Sophie always had each other. Though they might want to be in the same room, AnnaBelle has to be right up against you. Honey was like that as well. Maybe AnnaBelle picked that up from her. Sleepy AnnaBelle is our favorite time ... she is so cuddly and loving. Awake Annabelle is going 100 mph! There are so few good pics because they are just a white blurr! We haven't started any official training classes although we do a lot of self training with her. Right now her attention span is about the size of a nat, so training is quick. We learned a lot with Lucy and Sophie in training so we are able to try and get a handle on some things before they become an issue. She absolutely loves toys and is teaching Lucy to love them as well. L&S rarely played with their toys. They each had a favorite go to toy when someone came over but that was about it. Lucy and AnnaBelle are always getting in a scuffle over a toy. Even if there are two of the same toy. AnnaBelle just grabs a toy and then starts walking around Lucy trying to get her to chase her. It is so cute to watch. Lucy just messes with her by faking her out like she is going to chase her. Lucy of course doesn't want to run any further than she has too you know. I reallly need to start responding to some of the one doodle, two doodles, or three doodles discussions, because I have experienced all in the last few months and there really is a difference in all three scenarios. All in all, being a new puppy Mom, again, has been so much easier than the first time around. All of that can be attributed to what I've learned here over the last 5 years.

So glad to hear that Lucy is warming up to her little sister! Such a cutie....how could you not? Hug both dogs from us!
Oooh, I will. I'll even kiss those big ole black noses for you ... lol!
Great pictures, and it's nice to hear that they are becoming good friends. I'm sure Lucy would feel lost without Annabelle now. She has added a little spice to Lucy's life ! Never a dull moment :)
She has definitely added a little spice to Lucy's life. I keep asking Lucy "Why are your ears so wet" ... AnnaBelle's favorite chew toy!
AnnaBelle is so pretty!!! In fact, her and my pup look almost identical. Molly is nearing 6 months now and is projected to weigh 44 pounds. The whole toy situation you got going there is the same for me too. The doodle prances around my older dog with toys in her mouth to try to entice her to play... then they argue over the same toy! So glad to hear everything is going well for you :)
Oh Jessic
Thanks for the update, she is becoming such a beautiful doodle! I loved "sleepy AnnaBelle time" that sounds beyond precious!
Thanks Camilla. I so want to know how she will end up looking, but also don't wanna wish her puppy days away as I'm actually enjoying them this time around!
Sisters! nothing like it!
Sisters seem to be a whole lot different than Liter Mate Sisters! It is very interesting.
Love the photos. Good to hear that big sister and little sister are warming up to each other. They are adorable.
Thanks Adrienne ... how is Dougie doing? Hopefully I didn't miss an update while I was away. I'm trying to catch up now!
