Jennifer, it's possible that this guy is pulling a sick prank and these photos have nothing to do with dogs, pit bulls, fighting or anything else. That could be red paint for all you know. It looks like way too much to actually be blood from only three pitbulls. If it is, they would all be dead from that much blood loss. Whatever it is, I really think you need to forget about it, block this guy on FB or stop following/looking at what he posts, and focus on getting better. What possible good can come of continuing to associate or communicate with someone like this, even on-line?

And if the dogs got loose, there is nothing anyone can do anyway. If the police picked them up, they would be immediately euthanized. The shelters can't adopt out fighhting dogs. They will hold them for evidence pending criminal charges and then put them down.

Jennifer, You've done what you can and that's more than most people would do. I'd report him to the SPCA or whatever your equivalent is and that's all you can do. This guy is obviously a moron and that's the kindest thing I can say about him.

Jennifer, please please don't put anymore of your precious energy on this. There is a good chance that Karen is absolutely right. Plus, if this is real and they ran away, then they are better off. You did all you can do and you have much more important things to focus all your special positive energy on. Like getting healthy. There is nothing you can do and like Karen said, what possible good can come of continuing to communicate with someone like this. To answer your question, I doubt the police would even respond to a call about a picture on FB.

Jennifer, please, you need positive things in your life and all your energy to get better.   There is truly nothing you can do.  Block him, don't follow his posts, and cut him out of your life.  I don't understand why you would want to associate with him in any way.  Let the police or animal control deal with the fighting dogs and this guy.  He's obviously not open to your concerns and/or enjoys pushing your buttons.    Please focus on keeping Jack happy and safe and feeling better.

I just have to say: YOU are so kind and thoughtful and giving of yourself.  Even when this guy posts stuff like this, you go out of your way to be nice while you state your opinion that what he's doing is wrong.  I just think that's really cool.  I wasn't clear on whether you're a FB 'friend' with him up until now or not.  I'd definitely end that 'friendship' -- too draining and frustrating even if just on FB.

We love you because you never turn your back and you have such a generous heart, Jen and we just want the best for you.  We're all praying for you to get healthy again. I hope too that these poor dogs are humanely euthanized if it has to be.  At least they won't be in misery anymore. It's too bad there's not a law to euthanize the owners involved in dog fighting. If they could only see the world through the eyes of the dogs they mistreat...

I feel ya Jennifer! I saw a facebook photo of a calico kitten who had to be put down recently because it had been badly hurt and my heart still aches for that kitten. Ugh! Our precious littles don't deserve to be treated like this. Very sad.
