What is it about my beautiful, cream color doodle and mud puddles!?! We are out in our Motorhome for my "last fling" before the new school year begins. The campground where we are has a wonderful, fully enclosed dog park for the furry babies to run in. It is huge - and over by the fence there is one tiny puddle. Well, Casey found it like a magnet. Cody was running and chasing the ball and of course, I turned around and there was Casey digging in the mud. Uggggg. Had to walk him back to the Motorhome for a cold shower then an hour in the sun to dry before coming inside. Meanwhile hubby drove the dachshunds and Cody back in the car. No one else got near the mud puddle.

I just spent 85.00 for a groom and what di my dood do? came home and shoveled out a nice dirty spot.....lol

Precious. He looks like I imagine that Casey will look with a haircut. I am like a mama with her toddler son right now - I know that Casey could use a haircut, but I dread that first haircut. He is SO cute with his long locks.

If there is a small puddle anywhere, Ned gets in - usually doing a belly crawl and face roll.  Big bodies of water (like oceans and lakes) are not Ned's cup of tea.

Casey loves to dig initial and eat some of it, so his front legs were muddy at least 1/2 way up and his face, chin and beard were dripping mud. So attractive!

This IS Lucas' first haircut!!!! Oh, about an hour after we got home!!! Gotta roll with the punches when you got a doodle!

But I think one of the funniest is that Cody (Casey's litter-mate brother) doesn't dig or play in the mud at all. He is "to elegant" to be such a pigpen! Their personalities are SO different. They keep us entertained all the time. Life is never boring with my doods around.

Luna likes to "snorkel" in mud, blowing bubbles while she paws at it :/

She's done this since she was little .. still loves blowing bubbles in water and/or mud.  It's earned her the nickname "bubbles" :)  This is what her snout looks like after a mud-bubble session:
