The Monmouth County Underdogs Announces Doodle Rescue Collective, Inc. (DRC) as a Donation Recipient

Neptune City, NJ, August 06, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Monmouth County Underdogs is proud to announce the selection of Doodle Rescue Collective, Inc. (DRC) as one of the rescue organizations that will receive a portion of funds raised at our upcoming event, “The Power of Positive Training with Victoria Stilwell.”

“The Power of Positive Training” is a two-day seminar hosted by the Monmouth County Underdogs, a registered 501(c)3, and The Inner Dog, LLC. The event is taking place on October 19-20, 2013 at Brookdale Community College. A portion of the proceeds will go directly to help local rescue organizations like Doodle Rescue Collective, Inc. (DRC).

In order to be considered to be a recipient, the rescue group’s philosophy must align with The Monmouth County Underdogs' mission of enriching the lives of dogs by practicing positive, reward based training techniques as well as not discriminating against bully breeds.

Doodle Rescue Collective, Inc. (DRC) is located in Woodland Park, NJ. Founded in 2008, Doodle Rescue Collective, Inc. (DRC) is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, charitable organization. They are a volunteer foster-based rescue comprised of a "collective" of over 800 registered volunteers nationwide, DRC is dedicated to the protection and rescue of Labradoodle & Goldendoodle (doodle) dogs in need. Although their focus is on doodle dogs, they do provide support services and educational resources and re-home assistance for those needing to find new forever homes for their family pets of all breeds. Lastly, DRC only refers to (VSPDT) trainers, all of which are committed to achieving outstanding results using Victoria's force-free methods. DRC, was nominated to receive funds from this event, by VSPDT trainer, Sam Wike, owner of the Inner Dog, our co-host for the event.

Doodle Rescue Collective, Inc. (DRC) is the third and final rescue organizations to be announced as a donation recipient from this event.

It takes a Village ... and I love being a part of the DRC village along with all of you. I just wish we were closer so we could attend this event! What wonderful news for the DRC.
