Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Heather Woodland recently joined Doodle Kisses, but she and her beautiful doodle Cujo have been well known and loved for some time now on other doodle forums. Tonight Cujo was hit by a car and did not survive the accident. Please leave a note of condolence for her and her family. Leave your thoughts here and not on her profile page as that may fill her email up and she is not ready to talk to everyone at this time. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers.

We would like to send a gift to the Woodland family in this time of grief. If you would like to contribute any amount within the next two days, we will use that to purchase a token of our care for them. `````UPDATE--we have raised a sufficient amount to do something nice for the Woodlands. Thank you to all who have contributed.

Below is her slide show and I'm including it as a tribute to her much loved doodle, Cujo.
He was gorgeous, patient, awesome with her kids and an important part of the family. Heather's youngest daughter and Cujo were best of friends.

Our hearts go out to you Heather and we send our warm thoughts and hugs to you and your family.

Heather, thanks for sharing your love and your heart with us regarding Cujo. What a perfect name for your beautiful boy. I am so sorry you lost him. Adina is a true angel for sharing these wonderful pictures with all of us. I hugged Patti Cake extra hard tonight. I am truly sorry.
Heather and family - My heart aches as I watch the slide show. It always amazes me to know the power of a dogs love and the love a family can pour on a dog! I pray for your family as you work through this loss. Cujo was OBVIOUSLY very special and I pray you will, one day soon, be able to laugh at all the wonderful memories you must have of your special friend Cujo! I am so sorry!
Heather,
I am so sorry for your loss. There is no way in the world any of us can completely convey our sincere loss and sympathy to you and for you. We can never ever replace a loved one we have lost, and Cujo is and will be sorely missed. We can only open our hearts to new love and new friends and I hope you find another special Doodle-friend when the time is right.

I have been on the receiving end of the wonderful love and care of the Doodle World and I hope and pray that you feel that love in real and wonderful ways, as well.

Heather and family, I'm so sorry to learn of the loss of your beloved doodle, Cujo. I can only imagine your pain. We lost our family dog in the same way as kids. It's really devastating.
Dear Heather and Family, Mere words just don't seem good enough to express my sorrow for your loss. All of us at doodle kisses know how much our dogs mean to us, they are part of our family. Please know that all of our hearts are with you and if there is anything I can do personally to help, or quietly listen please don't hesitate to call.
I can't breathe. I can't speak...tears are flowing. There are no words to describe my feelings or to console you adequately. I watched the slide show and have seen your pics before....Your Cujo was sooo beautiful and loving...the quintisential doodle and a true family member. I am hurting with you right now and pray for peace esp at this time of year.

Heather and family. I'm so sorry..... Your beautiful slideshow clearly expresses how much your dog was loved and also how much he loved you all back. Thank you for sharing a part of his life with us all.
It is with a heavy heart and tear-filled eyes that I write my sympathies to your family. These dogs truly are family members and to lose them is harder than anyone without could ever imagine. But their love of life while they are with us, for however long, makes it worth the heartache. Please know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of so many people this week. I am so sorry for your loss.
sweethearts,
know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. there is nothing worse then the loss of a beloved.
My thoughts are with you. I hope you find peace and comfort.
Heather,
Some years ago when our twins girls were little, we too experienced the loss of our beloved St. Bernard, Duchess. Now grown, our twins still hold a special place in their hearts for Duchess and the wonderful play times they had with her as I'm sure you family will for Cujo as well. Cujo may be gone but his memory will stay with you and your family forever. The photographs show pictures of a wonderful happy doodle that obviously loved you and your family. Words cannot express our sadness for your loss. May God comfort you and your family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Oh,Heather my heart aches for you and your family. God bless each and everyone of you.
