Doodle Snuggle Puppy!!

I was just on Amazon looking for things for my puppy. It's finally official, I am in a pet friendly apartment, mom dog is pregnant & I will be welcoming my puppy home mid November!

Anyway, I can never resist looking for dog things & I knew I should get a Snuggle Puppy thanks to you all, so imagine my surprise when there is a "Doodle" Snuggle Puppy listed! I attached the picture I took with my phone. It's adorable!

I'm a little surprised it is white, it seems like it will need to be washed regularly. But it is definitely a shaggy doodle look!!

Congratulations on your upcoming puppy but try and pace yourself or you'll have your apt too full of puppy stuff to fit in a puppy. ">))

Yes, Donna, I could so easily get carried away! I haven't bought anything yet & probably won't until it gets closer. I have a few $25 Amazon GC's that I have on my account, so I figured I'd put things on a wish list & save the GC's to buy some puppy things. They seem to have a lot of "add ons", which are cheaper once you get over $25. I'm trying to use any gift cards I have to save money.

Hopefully I can continue to save until November. A friend of mine even suggested a "puppy shower" to get toys, nature's miracle etc from friends/family! I'm thinking that's going a little too far, but it's a cute idea :)

It's such an exciting time when you are waiting for your puppy. I wouldn't spend a lot (easier said than done) other than basics like crate and natures miracle. The snuggle puppy is a good idea and you can bring it to rub over moma and siblings so it has their scent on it.

Yes, Nicky, I'm sure I won't spend a lot at first. I figure I'll get crate, snuggle puppy, bells for the door, collar, leash, bowls, nature's miracle. I might get a few toys, a kong, rope toy, just basics so I have some things. I'm just hoping to save more until November. Just saving for the purchase price of the puppy has been slow, but I have that plus a little. I hope to have more of a savings just in case anything unexpected comes up!

I was so surprised that Snuggle Puppy had a "doodle" though! Right in there with a Golden & a Dalmatian. They don't even have many well known breeds but they had a doodle! I think that will be one of my definite purchases & I will bring it when I pick up the puppy for mom & litter mates to get their scent on.

Anyone know if they are machine washable? I was actually thinking of getting a darker color since white will show a lot of dirt etc.

Yes, they are machine washable. My guys decided to take theirs off of the top of their crate and take it outside to play - in the mud, right after a rain. It is a cream colored snuggle puppy that looked black. I washed it along with a load of towels and it looks like new. I didn't put it in the dryer - but probably could have. There is nothing on it that should have a problem with the dryer.

We bought the doodle snuggle puppy! Sawyer LOVES it! It's by far hs favorite toy! I will attach a pic. Sawyer is an Englsh Godendoodle...he and snuggle puppy are hard to tell apart!

Save some room in your budget to buy health insurance.  It's fairly cheap for a new pup.  Just one big vet bill will make it pay off, though.  

I did not know about the snuggle puppy when we got Quincy, it is soooo cute!  I love the picture Kris posted with her white cutie and the snuggle pup- she's right, hard to tell apart!  

I always wonder how real white doodles can be kept clean.  We have a "hide all dirt" chocolate.

He loves to play in the mud and dirt...but it all seems to fall off him. He doesn't stay dirty. When the lawn s freshly mowed his paws will turn green but it fades quickly without intervention! I do brush him with the Furminator and that helps.
