My DH mowed the lawn last night and there was a heavy dew. This morning he took Haley out to potty and afterward wiped his feet before coming inside. Awhile later I noticed that Haley's feet still had lots of grass clippings in the fur. What to do? Then I had one of those light bulb moments and got out the vacuum cleaner and a bag of treats and sat on the floor with Haley. First I showed him the crevice tool and treated him. Then I turned on the vacuum and proceeded to vacuum Haley's feet giving lots of treats. The end result was no more grass clippings. Just had to brag about my sweet boy.

Great idea!

Aw, good boy Haley!

How smart you are and how calm Haley is!  We tried to vacuum our old lab mix ONCE and that was the end of that for him.

That reminds me of the ONE time I tried to teach Duncan to use the treadmill...

I love moments like this. Good boy Haley!

Good boy, Haley!  Finn says you are very brave but you are one lucky doodle that you are too big too get "sucked up" into that noisy monster! Finn also says, Mom, you may think that's a brilliant idea, but don't even think about it! There are not enough treats in the world :)

Cool Haley! Sophie Bear is hiding in her crate just thining about it!

wow what a great boy! i think Seamus would have chewed the vacuum attachment! haha
