Anybody have a suggestion for a good scissors for haircuts for your dogs? We have several but after a full trim on Groucho my husband has blisters again on his fingers. We looked on line and there are so many to choose from and the prices range from $27 to $1000. I like my snippers which are Fiskars and they work for me, but my husband does not like to use them for complete cuts. My beautician called her scissors "Mercedes" because they cost so much, but she uses scissors all the time and I don't think we need a Mercedes. Suggestions?

Not exactly thrilled with Miller's Forge I just ordered a few months back. I would go a few steps higher in quality since you have two heavy coats.
I will say, get the curved scissors. I love those. Easy to work with, gets into the curves of the body, and my husband used them on his mustache and loved them too.
Lynda, hold off on ordering. After I ordered I found a fantastic website to order from. It was half what I payed on Ebay. I'll try to get my computer up and running today and get you the link
Exactly what I have been needing to hear. Let me know what you find out.
Here is the link~ now send me the money so I can order more :)
I take it that this is a joke. I was ready to send you the money, but did not have an address and did not know what to include for shipping and handling. My husband said it was a joke. But we did order a straight shears (8 1/2") and we will let you know how they work. Thanks for your assistance.
We ordered the scissors and they came in two days, but....my husband's fingers do not fit in them. We called them and they were most understanding and said to send them back (showdogstore) but larger handles not available. So we are back on the search for trimming scissors made for a large hand.
