Can anyone tell me of something to attack the weeds in my lawn. We have just come back from a vacation to more weeds than grass. Is there something out there safe for pets that can be used? Thanks in advance for any help

We ave had some discussions on this. I just used some vinegar , finally, on weeds in my walkway. But I looked into a product at Home Depot. Corn Gluten is used to prevent seeds from germinating but it won't do a thing for the weeds there at the moment. I plan to use it at some point but first I will overseed my lawn in Sept. I have tons of crabgrass in places now. But all the other commercial stuff, particularly those containing 2,4D are bad for living things.

F, I have occasionally lurked in the GG.  Today I saw this discussion and the info regarding corn gluten.  I'm glad I did.  Just ordered Green It from Home Depot to use in my flower borders.  I never finish weeding before a new crop of weeds pop up.  Hopefully, if I spray the Green It on an area I finish weeding I may get ahead a little.  Have used  granular and  powdered corn gluten in the past with some success.  Perhaps the spray will give a more complete coverage. : )
