Sitter suggestions

Not sure this is correct form, but i am adding this post on the general open forum also b/c on the specific category it gets very few hits.

You might check with your Vet.  When we were in CT we hired one of the Vet Techs to come 4 times a day to check on ours.  Was a good thing too because the furnace went out while we were gone in the dead of the winter.  By the time we got home she had it all fixed!  Had we not had someone coming we would have had broken pipes when we got home.  Ugh.  We also have a thing here (I think it is nationwide) called Carepages.com and the have a Pet Sitter section.  You might check that out to see if anyone looks promising.

Thanks good idea.....the vet is a personal friend...I'd hate to give the impression I'm trying to avoid his place, but maybe cuz it's over a school holiday ( Columbus Day) & it might be difficult for him to get help in . Ill call today & see what they say.
