Colbie is almost 3 years old and has been having very random seizures for a little less than a year. It seems to happen after she has been very excited or anxious. After an anxious day when she is sleeping or relaxing sometimes she will jump up and start acting very strange and come next to any person to lay down and have a seizure. So it seems that she knows when she is going to have one, but we don't know why she is having them. Does anyone have a similar situation? They usually last about 3 minutes, and occur very randomly.

Has she been evaluated by a vet?
How often?
The excitement probably brings her over the "seizure threshold".
As you do know when she is going to have a seizure there may be ways to "interrupt" the process.
The first step is to talk to your vet!!
Please have Colbie evaluated by a vet.
There may be more going on. I have read your other post about her itchy skin. I will repeat DO NOT GIVE EVENING PRIMROSE - IT CAN LOWER THE SEIZURE THRESHOLD IN DOGS THAT ARE PRONE TO SEIZURES!!!!
We have taken her to the vet a couple of times, they have done blood tests and things but they still aren't sure what is causing them. As of now we just have to keep track and let them know when she has them and how long they last.
just wanted to see if anyone had a similar situation or any idea of what it could be!
I'm so sorry to hear about Colbie's seizures. :( My doodle has epilepsy, and anxiety lowers his seizure threshold as well. We have his seizures under decent control with medication, but if he does have a breakthrough seizure, it's often after he's been very excited or anxious. He knows when he's going to have them, too--he'll come find us beforehand and seems to be looking for comfort, which breaks my heart.
Have the seizures been getting more frequent? Does your vet recommend medication at this point? If you have a dog neurologist in your area, I can't recommend it highly enough. The first appointment will be expensive, but after that the pricing is on par with a regular vet visit. I have one that I love and it has been worth every penny. Blood work doesn't reveal all the potential causes of seizures--an MRI will rule out brain tumors and other scary things. And as much as I like my regular vet, my neurologist is so much more knowledgeable about seizures. Either way, I wish you so much luck--I know how hard it is to watch them go through this.
There was another discussion about a dog having seizures when the owners would come back from a trip.

Excitement definitely can trigger a seizure.
Our golden has seizures and she is almiost 3...we rescued her but we were aware of her having seizures but they put her on Phenobarbital and Potassium Bromide and its been almost 4 months since shes had one but she had one last night, her first since shes been with us. Oh my what a terrible thing to have to watch her go through that, i laid in the floor with her all night ,holding her n telling her it was ok...she has been sleeping now most all morning ) ;
Dear Gayle, The first seizure is always the worst experience. Our Jasper had his first one with our then 17 year old daughter. She was traumatised. Do you get 6 monthly Pheno level testing done to see, if her levels are within therapeutic range? Say, if she put on weight the medication might not work anymore. Aklso very important - give her MILK THISTLE. A great supplement to keep her liver safe from the medics.
