I know we have had conversations previously about the yellow ribbon on the leash for dogs you should not approach, but I saw these this morning and thought I'd pass along.  I've not seen them before.  While I think it is an interesting idea, I'm not sure if people would be able to read them from far enough away to do any good.  I could certainly use the I'm Shy for Lucy and the I'm in training for Miss AnnaBelle.

When I see new "gadgets" like these flags, I feel that incidences like what happened to Libby, are certainly not going to be discouraged by a cute little colored flag. Unless the dog can read. Because most owners don't know what this flag would even symbolize. I'm pretty up to date with most things doggie, and I don't know if I would think to stop to read a flag. Personally, I'd spend the $4.99 plus shipping on a healthy treat and do some purposeful training needed to keep my own dog safe and calm in these situations, like Libby so well demonstrated with your "leave it "command. Good job Libby !!!!!

Thanks Sue, I was proud of her even when she looked up at me with "eyes" that said "Mommy" what is going on and you are telling me to leave it?   I totally agree with you about the flags.

I actually saw a woman a few weeks back with a plain yellow flag on her leash. It was in the time of my still carrying Enzo ( not fully vaccinated) and we passed her. Even tho I was carrying Enz , she made an effort to avoid us. I wondered about the " caution" flag, and wondered if that is what it meant. I don't think most people would give it a second thought. JMO tho.
