Marking or UTI ?

I have a 13 week old male F1 goldendoodle and the last few days he started peeing a lot. he will go 3-4 times outside. usually one long one and then little ones. he also went in the house twice yesterday, which is actually pretty unusual for him, once he goes out, he can hold it for a while, and up until this point we actually haven't had many accidents in the house because we take him out often. so, i am wondering if this is his way of starting to mark, or possibly a UTI? any thoughts? we have a vet appointment tomorrow, where we will ask, but wanted to see if anyone else had this issue or thoughts.

Given the pattern I would think it could be a UTI, although they are less frequent in males.

He seems a bit too young to mark. Perhaps check out for a UTI.
