Snuggle puppy?

Hey everyone! Ive been getting ready for Maggie to join our pack the past couple of days and while planning all the things ill need for her ive had issues deciding on getting a snuggle puppy for her or not... I know a lot of you all have had amazing help with them but I was wondering if i should just wait and see if she needs it. Idk this decision has me stumped!

Thanks KLN! :) and yes Chopper does steal some of my older son's stuffed animals but luckily they are the ones I won in those claw machines...lol..I had dozens of them. We had a machine at work so we all became experts. The Snuggle puppy is still alive and well. He also steals my younger son's cars from his coveted Cars collection, sometimes right out of his hands while he is playing with them :/ They will chase each other all over the house fighting over toys! It's like have another bratty child.

Chopper is so adorable!!!! part of me wants one of the snuggle puppies because the pictures of all the puppies with them are so CUTE! lol, but a very small part because it's $40. LOL

Personally, I would wait. A stuffed animal and/ or a tee shirt with your scent can achieve the same thing. Leave a radio or TV on. Our Enzo loves all her stuffed toys to cuddle up to and they were a lot less $.

I'd never heard of these before so I just looked them up on amazon....OH MY DOODLE....these are $40! They should have a LIVE heartbeat for that! Ha! I'm not one to talk, I spend ridiculous amounts on the pups but I'm just so surprised they are that much!

LOL...like I said, one can but MANY stuffed dog toys for $40. One of our friends bought one for her puppy. Her dog kept stealing her little girls stuffed animals and basically ignored the Snuggle. Her daughter ended up with it!

Yes, that is the main reason I had such a hard time deciding on what to do! $40 is a good amount of money that I believe could go to something a little more important for Maggie. LOL:)

I can't believe I forgot what we did with Jace and it wasn't even on purpose! lol:) My little sister in law gave Jace a large stuffed horse and he clung to that thing for the first month with us, I believe that was his make-shift "snuggle puppy". I think what i'll do is just get a large stuffed animal at the store to see how that works, i'll save some money too, I'll also probably rub it on her mom to try and get her scent.

I bought one for my Sadie and either it worked or I just had a really laid back puppy 2 nights she wined a little took her out middle of the night , after that she has slept til at least 6 am. I do cover the create also. She does play in the create but she just plays and goes back to sleep no accidents in create.

I have one that I never used because Boone was 3 months old when I got him and didn't need it.  I have opened the packaging but it's all brand new.  I would sell it to you, or anyone who wants one, for $20.  It's a blonde puppy.
