I'm not getting another dog ANYTIME soon.  So we'll put suspicions to rest there.

But since Breaking Bad is now over...and I'm having withdrawals,  (If you didn't watch all seasons you can not possibly understand ;-))  I was thinking about how 'pretty' the word for 'meth' sounds in Spanish.  It ends in -amina and I thought...hmmm...that would be an interesting name.  Oh no...maybe "Amino" would sound better.  But that doesn't sound like a kid's name...maybe ... a DOG!  Then I pondered the various parts of the word and found in the sounds... "FETA!!!!"

OMD isn't "Feta" a perfect name for a white doodle?  I'm in love with this idea!  Now it is here, in writing, so nobody can steal this name.  Okay?   Perhaps I can license it to you for use, but you'll have to agree to cease and desist use of this name for any doodle once my white doodle is born.

*If you haven't seen the show, you won't understand why I would even be pondering this.  I'm really not crazy or interested in illegal drugs, I promise you!

Oh my word! That is possible? A powerful show indeed. There should be a disclaimer for anyone wlike with heart issues....like on roller coasters.

You know I love those food names. I like Feta :)

I'm ready to start watching it from the beginning again! We started watching this summer, powered through all the episodes and then watched this fall. Incredible character development, plot, suspense although often much too gory. It was spellbindingly good. The name Feta is great. ;o)

Yes to all that.  I never would have thought a show about a meth cooker (though it is about more than that) would be so "spellbindingly good!"

My boyfriend got me watching that show, we started on Netflix too. I didn't like it at first because it is so raw and gritty. I did get pretty into it. I think you are Breaking Bad's biggest fan.

Seriously, but it was... just that good.

The last half of this last season, I got really into the Insider podcasts too. It was fun to hear about how the writers and directors went through their process. They wrote themselves into corners all the time, not knowing how they'd get out of it. So when wer're sitting at home wondering how they're going to get out of this one, the writers were wondering the same thing after they wrote it.

Well, I think if you're going to name a dog after methamphetamine you should spell it, 'Pheta', rather than Feta.  All I can think of is cheese with the latter spelling.

I, too, am a BB survivor, having watched from the very first season on. The waiting for the next season was always so hard. I am sad its over, but I think it ended very well, at least I felt satisfied with it.

True the spelling is off.  But it was the word that made me think of the sound of 'feta,' but I had to spell it like the cheese because I thought it was cute...and fitting for a white doodle :-)

I agree on the ending.  I am so rarely satisfied with endings, but this one was good.  It was satisfying as far as endings go.  Though I still would love to know what's going on with all the characters that were left alive...what are they up to?  What are they thinking?

The 'Talking Bad' after shows helped me with a lot of those types of questions. I can't say I was left wondering about any of them.

When I get bored riding on the back of the bike, I dream up dog names.  When I can remember them, I add them to the list I keep on my computer.  We just picked a little doodle out of the shelter for the DRC and we temporarily called him Charlie to get his attention for a picture. Today my dh and I decided we should have tried the name Reggie - would suit him perfectly.  Now I need to add Reggie to my list of future doodle names.  I like Feta, by the way.

Nancy, that is so funny. I do that at night when I can't sleep, which I should be doing now since it's 3am but the chinese food I had for dinner is not sitting well. I actually have a list and Reggie is on there. :>) Saw it on a headstone one day.  I come up with some great names but most of the time I can't remember them in the morning.
