I think that it's safe to say that Nimbus (14 weeks tomorrow) is now housebroken. He rings his poochiebells every time he wants to go outside. There are a few times where he just wants to go out and play, but most of the time he actually goes to the bathroom. Good investment.

Yay!!  He's super-cute!!

Thank you! I think it took very long. Our late German Shepherd/Australian Shepherd got the idea much faster ;-)

General rule is that a puppy is not totally dependable til they are 6-7 months old. They may know what to do but their bladders are not fully developed so don't be lured into the possibility of no accidents. Teaching them to go outside is the easy part, them learning how long they have & how long they can hold it is the hard part. Something over which you have no control.

He's so cute!! He looks alot like our Shaka! and about the same age too! congrats on his/your accomplishment!

Shaka is a cutie, too! You should post more pictures :-)

OMD...what a cutie! Congrats! LOL...we just reset the click yesterday. We were talking about this in another thread and someone mentioned that a puppy was not considered 100% trained until 30 days had passed without an incident. IE us resetting back to zero yesterday. We had gone almost 3 weeks, and sometime yesterday morning she went to a throw rug on the side of our bed. ( Her place to hide an accident) Oh well...back to the training board! ;)

Thank you! We love him so much! Your Enzo is absolutely adorable! Maybe we can meet sometime.

Hopefully Enzo will be dependable, soon.

Many thanks! I know these things all take time and know Enzo is "just around the corner" in her being housebroken.

Congratulations!

Thank you, Nancy!

I had thought I was making progress with Belle but during a full week of rain she really backtracked with the housebreaking. Now the rain is over she is doing better, but we are still at the point where she will have several good days where she asks to go out and has no accidents and then out of the blue has an accident (or several in a day). Is this normal? She is already 4 1/2 months.
Absolutely normal!
