Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Our puppy Leo 12 weeks has decided it is fun to spill his food and water bowls. I'm looking for good, cute, not break the bank suggestions. And does anyone else have a doodle who thinks this is a game?

We got our puppy some bowls from TJ Maxx for like $12, but they are two bowls that sit in a metal box. This keeps our pup from being able to tip them over with his paws! Think of the box as a stabilized base for the removable bowls. I would recommend something like this from Wayfair.com ... this is just the concept (not exactly what we have), but I would think he'd be less likely to flip over the whole stand!
Good luck!
I have elevated bowls in a metal frame. I think they are better for dog's health. He'd have to knock over the entire thing. But so far he hasn't. I guess it's still possible, but probably a little harder than the single bowls.
that's what we use and he has never knocked them over.
Thanks for the suggestions

We have some plastic bowls in our motorhome that we use for water that don't tip over easily. They are plastic and had a lid that snaps onto the bowl. The lid is basically just a rim with a large hole in the middle. It is called a "water hole pet dish." We got it at Camping World. That works great for us.
Unfortunately, our problem is at home. Casey wants to wash his feet in the water bowl and play with the water. He doesn't do that in the bowl in the motorhome, but that one isn't large enough for use at home since we have 6 dogs drinking from the one at home, we would be filling it up 10 times a day! We are trying desperately to come up with a water bowl at home that he can't play in, yet it is still large enough to keep fresh water in for all of our guys!
