Did I get a poodle head with a retriever body?

She is an f1b. 5 1/2 weeks. The coat on her torso is very straight. Can this change? It is much different than her littermates. She's still cute.

Just curious what you guys think.

Her coat is going to get long and wavy. She's beautiful.

Do you think she will shed? Yes definitely, or it's just hard to know at this point?

I have mild dog allergies. Light shedding may be okay. A heavy shedding dog may be a problem and I might be able to switch my preference. I had first pick of the litter and most people wanted her so changing my mind might not be a problem.

She is beautiful. I'm sure I will fall in love with her regardless, but a bit concerned. And there were other great dogs in the litter.

It's just about impossible to say. I think she is going to be very doodle-y, but even some of the curliest doodles shed. I don't think she will be a heavy shedder if she does.

I think you will be surprised how much her coat will change in just the next 2 weeks.

Thanks. I have lots of pictures and she's not even home yet. I'm a bit scared because she's not the submissive laid back dog I thought I wanted. She seems like she is quite the diva. You can see it in her eyes even at this age. We will have to start dog training early.
