Does anyone have a sweet, mellow Female doodle?

I've always done better with male dogs. I've had females but they have always been somewhat bossy or aloof. With our final doodle on the way I think we will go for a female. Before Jake, I assumed we would get another male. Since we have 2 I don't know about adding a third boy to the mix. Brisby is mellow and although jake is a bit higher energy, he is still on the relaxed happy end (provided) adequate exercise. Would like to hear stories about sweet girls.

[Robin and Libby Louise]

Libby is the most mellow, laid back girl ever.  She was a bit more high strung when she was younger, of course, but she has been this mellow for the last few years (she is 6).  Everyone comments on how sweet and loving she is.  Although, she went for her checkup last week and the vet said something about her being GERIATRIC!  She is only 6!  I think we need a new vet!  But I think Libby understood the vet because for the last few days she has been pulling every toy out of her toy box and wanting to play fetch constantly!  LOL.  She is so funny.

My Ellie is the Sweetest, Most laid back Girl!!! I do also have a Male. They are one year apart. Adore them BOTH, that being said, Ellie is definitely my dog. My male Oliver is more family oriented. He is also more social with other dogs. Ellie LOVES Oliver, but not always wants to be bothered with other dogs we meet. My vet recommended only one female if getting more than one. She said in Most cases the female likes to take on the dominant role~

[Katie and Sophie]

Sophie is super sweet and so laid back.  Seriously, nothing rattles this girl.  We also have a female Weimaraner, Jade who is equally sweet but much more energetic and shy.  The get along SO well though.  They both have things they excel at and I think it has more to do with their individual personalities than their gender.

Our Meggie I call LAZY DOODLE, she sleeps all day under my desk, sleeps in bed with me.  I have to TRY and get her riled up to play and she will run around a bit after she comes in from going potty or after she eats, but I would say that's 10 min out of the day.  Funny - I thought it was a characterstic and all doodles were calm!!!

Shiloh is one of the most mellow dogs I've known. And our female schnoodle, Fenway, is just as mellow.
