Hi everyone! Just wondering if anyone has any experience with new puppies and Christmas trees! If you have any experience, how did your puppy react? Are there precautionary measures we should take in preparation for setting up for the holidays? The thought of our little guy pulling down the tree or chewing apart/digesting wrapping paper from gifts under the tree makes me so nervous!

Any insight to this would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

We were worried last year since Quincy was only about 6 months.  We left the bottom sparsely decorated with "safe" ornaments only.  He really was a good boy though, for the most part he left it alone and just in case we never left him alone with it!

Finnley was 7 months last year when the tree went up. She was pretty good, and didn't do anything much but sniff it. I think this year will be the real test. I will be watching her like a hawk, and not giving her a chance to steal anything. Definitely it will be unbreakable, and what I hope are uninteresting (to Finnley) ornaments on the bottom this year.

Here's an idea...Grandinroad.com.
