What happened to you last night? I was looking forward to meeting you at the hangout with Linda. Hopefully we can do it again soon. What I had to do is call her on the phone and have her walk me through how to get into the video screen, etc. She showed me some awesome ways to put in backgrounds. Now I am going to play today.

I guess this is the best place to show off some of our recent work.  It is a special celebration coming up over Thanksgiving.  It is actually Thankshanukkah (sp?), Celebrate Lorraine, and the sale of dad's home which closes on Dec. 5 (right after we leave).  The whole family (my husband's) is getting together in Arizona and we are having Thanksgiving and then a Mexican fiesta on Friday at Dad's house.  In preparation for Celebrate Lorraine, we have made a beautiful wooden box filled with photos of her throughout her lifetime and a banner with the same photos on it.  Here is a little sample.  My husband, of course, is the woodworker, and I do the photos.  We are still working on the banner, but I will post it when we are finished.

What beautiful woodworking. And special memories.

Beautiful and very special!

This is beautiful, Lynda!

I really enjoyed working on the photos and Charlie always enjoys doing something special in wood.  I am working on the banner today (all the photos are ready) as soon as I finish planting the bulbs -- so I had better get busy.

Okay, finally done.  I got the banner put together today and Charlie fixed some poles that we can put it on for display.  So now I have the photos scanned, photoshopped, and printed, the photo presentations done of Five Generations, Lucky Lady, and Super Mom, the banner made,  The box made and the photos all matted and in the box.  Ready to go now except for the food.  We have been practicing.  The Mexican fiesta should be great (Thanksgiving always is).

It all seems great, enjoy.

How nice! Have fun!

Have a safe trip to AZ.  It looks like you and Charlie have went to lots of work - it should be a wonderful celebration of life!

It was!  So much fun and she was so surprised when she came over to Dad's house and saw the banner in the front yard.   The food all turned out great and everyone enjoyed visiting and remembering old times.  Here  is  my FIL - 98 years young. My DH and two great nephews.  Lorraine and her two granddaughters.

I'm glad it went so well : )
