Is that normal? Is he having puppy dreams, LOL?

I'm glad he went right back to sleep, he perked up & I took the opportunity to get him to poop. I really wanted him to go in the span of time before I go to bed. I guess it's normal for them to not poop soon after they eat, the first day & yesterday I was expecting him to need to go soon after he ate & was surprised when it was hours later!

Dogs certainly dream and shake and make noises while doing so.
Dogs can be fun to watch when they are sleeping

Oscar was the same with not pooping for hours after eating, at least when he was very young. Now, you can set your clock by his potty habits. He's so fast and efficient right after eating, unlike a certain female doodle who lives here and has to find 'just the right spot' before deciding to do her business!

Haha Deb, I hope Stew is like Oscar! He ate dinner at 7, but didn't poop until 10:10, so like 3 hours in between. It's the same with breakfast & lunch. He's been going out overnight the same times the past 2 days, so maybe a routine is forming!

Luna barks with her mouth closed, "runs" (her paws move a bit) and curls her lip and growls sometimes :p

When Skeet sleeps it is a circus sometimes. He howls, barks, runs cries and makes noises I have never heard before during the day. Sometimes it is so loud I have to wake him up and it is like he is in a coma. I shake him and talk gently to him and many tines he still isn't fully awake. He really has some nighttime adventures.

Yes the shaking is perfectly normal Jess...and with our Ellie it is usually about three-four hours after she has a meal that she poops.

Yep, all normal :)

Picco growls in his sleep. Mostly during his naps and not so much at night. It is adorable!

Same here Picco ;)
I love that too

Sometimes it looks like Libby is putting on a Broadway show while she is sleeping.  And sometimes I decide she is having a "bad" dream so I wake her up.  Pathetic but true!!!  :)

We always call it "chasing the bunnies" in his dreams
