I need to go back to work on Monday. I can bring my dog to work. I need to bring my dog to work.

I didn't calculate the "dog not being able to walk and pee on sidewalks etc" until the shots are done.
I have another 2 weeks + before she is free and clear of that rule.

The area I work in is all concrete and apartment buildings with lots of dogs around.

She's great at home. Crate trained, no accidents, I take her out to the backyard regularly.

So what do I do now? Do I need to retrain her to use the potty pads at home and take them to work with me? Is that doable in a couple days? Can I just carry her to the area for her to pee and then wash her feet afterwards?

When I first brought my puppy home I took him everywhere with me and to have him potty safely before his shots were done I would bring pee pee pads and put one down on the grass or sidewalk for him to potty, it worked like a charm. Good luck with your puppy.

What a great suggestion!

i had no idea of this 'no pee on sidewalks or grass' rule before shots. i just thought no dog park or strange dogs. i'm glad i didn't have any issues, my pup is now 5 months and i took him to work with me and he peed everywhere!

I know. But the area I work in has a lot of dogs. In the summer it doesn't rain so it's hard to even walk down the street without the smell of dog urine knocking you over. I think the exposure would be worse than a dog park.

I decided to work at home for another 2 weeks, much to the disappointment of my bosses.
