Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Greetings...just thought I would say hello :) I'm not an official Doodle mom quite yet, but our cream standard girl is due in about a week (give or take a few days) with Labrabadoodle babies and I can't wait!! We are planning on keeping at least on of the puppies, maybe two :)
Question: These will be F1B...for those that that have them, how is the shedding or does it very from dog to dog? We are blessed to have found a very good groomer...detail oriented and good with our girl. So I'll be browsing everyone's pics to get ideas :)

She is an adorable pup.
They will all be beautiful. Congratulations. You said these were your pups, all of them, correct?
I have a question though. Is this the dog you wish to breed? Might it be a good idea to see her temperament first? Temperament and health above all else. Then coat type and beauty as that is only skin deep.
Glad the birth went well. Congratulations. We realize this is an exciting and happy time, please read the guidelines as it relates to breeders.
"Breeders may only advertise dogs or puppies for sale in either the "Labradoodles for Sale" group or the "Goldendoodle for Sale" group -- instructions on ad guidelines are listed in those groups and must be followed. Breeders may also advertise breeder-related matters in the Breeders group freely. If you are a breeder, please keep breeding related discussions (finding studs, heat cycles, trouble with dam's pregnancy, trouble finding clients, etc) confined to the Breeders group."

Sure, post pics of Abbey! How exciting.
A little about DK. We all love dogs here. Most of us are not breeders. Most of us have spayed and neutered our pets. Many of us support or have been involved with some sort of rescue at some time in our lives.
Some of us have or had very poorly bred dogs. Sick dogs whose lives came from a happenstance breeding that resulted in an animal with any sort of genetic disorders. We love those dogs too :) Many of us didnt have a clue until we came here to find out why.
With breeders, we support breeders who do extensive testing on their Sire and Bitch: Hips, Eyes, Thyroid, Heart, etc for genetic defects found in these dogs. We encourage those seeking advice on getting a puppy to seek out breeders who do responsible breeding.
Here is an article that is a good read about testing and responsibl...
It's just that we are not used to having breeders post on the main page. But, you didnt know and I completely understand.
There is a breeders section here on DK just for posts like these. DK guidelines ask that breeders dont post on main forums.
Main forums are basically general information, enjoyment, and discussions. Not breeding. If someone asks about a breeder, we direct them to this section, What to Look for in a Breeder.
If you need more help or info, look me up. I would be glad to help.
Congratulations on your new puppy :) Looking forward to watching her grow
Not that breeders can't post on the main page. Just thought I'd clarify. Any dog lovers may post here, it's only pup/dog ads and other ads that must stay off the main page.
