Sick doodle, DC

Hi everyone

I haven't been on here much lately but today Henry, who is now 10 months, is really sick. He's been throwing up on and off all day, and can't even seem to keep water down. I made a homemade ORS and he drank a little but couldn't keep that down either. I've tried ice cubes as well but he doesn't want them. I've seen him a little sick before but he has so much energy hardly anything gets him down, but this time he's pretty out of it. I'm worried about him getting dehydrated.

We're in DC and go to a dog park a lot, curious if anyone in the area has heard of anything going around?

I am so sorry. I have a Henry, too. I hope he gets better soon. It is so scary when they are sick. Sending positive thoughts.

Thank you everyone for the support! My life and work got crazy hectic after Henry was sick and is just now slowing down again. I definitely should have taken the time to get on here and send an update. Henry is great. There was a virus going around in DC and he was not the only sick puppy. They're not sure what it was and do not think it was the really awful one that dogs were dying from, but it sure hit him hard. So scary when they are so helpless. But he's just great and just turned 1! My how time flies. :)

Thank you for the update..we have all been worried sick about Henry! I think many of us thought Henry had passed and you just couldn't come back on here. But I am so glad to hear he is doing great! Happy belated birthday Henry!
