Okay are supposed have phased out of the puppy age, both girls are two and a half, but at what point does this stop????

Clearly someone(s) does not like the fact mommy is no longer on vacation and spending 24/7 with them and grandma is failing as a stand in!

Ever since I've come back to work we've come home to something, up till now it's been something from the backyard but today one of them climbed over the dog crate and pulled things from the shelf.  Some of it was on the shelf below the top of the crate level so I have no idea how they got that????

NEVER have I had dogs so destructive.  And we were doing so good??

Josie is acting very guilty, when we walk in before we say a word the ears go back, tail tucks and she flees the scene of the crime.  Sassparilla on the other hand grabs a toy and is ready to play (butt wiggling, snorting and yeah mommies home see my toy, see my toy while shoving it in my face)??

I feel like Josie is the guilty party here because Sassy is always with a toy or ball in her mouth so I'm thinking of just crating Josie tomorrow, what are your thoughts?  Sassy I know has the separation issues and just freaks when the crate door closes behind her but Josie seems fine with it.  I'm wondering if Josie has Separation anxiety too and I just haven't clued into it or Sassy is stressing her out??  I'm hoping Sassy won't try to free her?  My daughter gets home at 1-2 pm and can let her out?  In all fairness I should have listened more closely to her given name; Nosie Josie! That nose is forever into something and she is a scavenger.

So do you think it's safe to crate one and not the other?  Should I wait and do a test run this weekend?  I need a nanny cam to see who the culprit is! lol

I don't have any suggestions for crating one and not other, but I have recorded yogi a few times with my iPad to see what's going on. You might try something like that if you have access to one with enough memory..

I have nothing to really advise, but his looks like a perfect dog shaming picture - sans the guilty parties :-) Sorry they're being rascals!

Oh Jolene!!! What a mess! Naughty doodles! All I can tell you is that we had two Golden Retrievers. They were basically perfectly behaved but on rare occasion we would come home and we would find the butter licked or eaten off the butter dish on the counter. Earle would look mortified the second we would walk in the door. He was clearly the guilty party. Duke would proudly prance up to us like, "See, I'm the good dog!" Well, Duke died of cancer at age 10. Earle lived 3 more years and the butter was never ever licked or eaten after Duke's death. We had blamed the wrong dog for years and years! They just had a different response to bad behavior... whether it was their own or the others! Sassy may be proud of the fun she had and Josie may be embarrassed by Sassy's naughtiness. Who knows????

This is what I wonder too if sassy isn't saying yeah your home now we can play instead of me entertaining myself. These two are totally the odd couple, if you're old enough to remember them! Lol

Sorry to hear about duke.

I have an old camcorder that I might be able to get a couple hours out of it? Time to dig it out and take a chance.
Ours are the Odd Couple too!

I bought an inexpensive surveillance camera, around $35. It works great and has sound. I can watch live feed from my computer or my smartphone. I love watching Chachi while I'm at work.

Vivky, what type of camera? I would  love to get one just to see what they are up to at home.

Ditto, please share.  I'd love to see what they are up to on a daily basis.  Training would be easier too since I'd know who the problem child was! lol  I'm so non-techy, I've asked around locally and most units are in the hundreds.  I didn't find my camcorder so that will be on my to do list this weekend but if I could get a cheap surveillance camera that would be even better!  A friend is supposed to come hook up my computer so I could get everything done at once?

What would be fun is sound both ways and as soon as they started to get into something you can tell them leave-it! lol

We bought a spy camera for our pup - a Foscam from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Foscam-FI8918W-Wireless-Network-Viewing/dp/B0....  It's nice because you can log in on remotely on your phone, computer at work etc.  It also has night-vision so you can observe even after dark.

what is easy to install?  Do you have to worry about people hacking into it?  I hate to have a spy cam pointing at my big screen tv!  It ain't much but its all I got.  you hear horror stories but I'm not that tech savy!  I'm from the dodge ball and rotary phone era! lol

It's a DLink 930L. I got off ebay. I'm not very techy either so I called their customer service and they talked me through it but afterwards I realized I could have done it myself. DLink makes more expensive, better quality cameras but I'm happy with the one I got. Not sure if anyone can hack into it but I'm not worried.
