Why does she do this?

Why Why WHY?!?  She tells me in no uncertain terms that she wants to go out.  I ask her, "do you want to go out?"  She essentially says "yes" by running to the back door.  I put down whatever work I'm doing, get up, limp to the back door (foot injury), open it......and.....all I hear is crickets as she stands there staring at me and refusing to go out.  She does this once, twice, and then the third time she goes out.  This happens many many MANY times every. single. day.  What in the name of all that is good and pure is going on here?!?!?!

Thanks everyone!  I bet she is bored and wants more interaction.  I don't know why I didn't think about that....probably too busy being annoyed.  :-)  She's been getting the shaft this winter in terms of fun outside time, what with Polar Vortex I and II.  Sucks.

wow it's great that she tells you , I would pick her up and make her go out the first time, it doesn't take them long to know what you will let them get by with ...Good Luck I hope your foot gets better soon !
