How you tell the different between Goldendoodles and labradoodles?

I love "loverdoodle"!! I've never heard of that before!  That might be Myla's new nickname!

I think I can tell the difference after having both of them, but it is so easy to see why people get them confused.  And, there are so many breeds out there and many are poodle combinations.  I think the labradoodles do have shorter coats and thinner and shorter hair on their tails.  But, this is the reason we leave the breeding to the breeders.  They can tell the difference.  I love both dogs and also have an ALD and hope to be getting a sheepadoodle sometime in the future.  Also, leave the breeding to the breeders.  They should know what they are doing.

I groom both LDs and GDs and some are almost identical--there really are no distinct differences between them--although you can have a bunch go GDs that look very different and the same is true for LDs--this is not a BREED per se, so they can really vary.
