Update!!!! Milo is not feeling well.

Milo was up all night not feeling well.  It may have something to do with eating some of a dead rabbit he found in our yard!!!  Now he will not eat his breakfast and is just laying around.  Should I try to fix him something special or just wait till he is feeling like eating.  I had to work today so my girls are at home taking care of him!!!

I don't want to scare you, but if there is some way you can do it, I would get him to the vet. Lethargy and sudden lack of appetite, in addition to his having a restless night, can be signs of something serious. I hope it's not, but he really should be seen.

Sadly rabbits can carry all sorts of diseases but it may be that it was just spoiled. If it were me I would call the vet for advice, describing the symptoms , and go from there.

If you can't get him into the vet for a while perhaps you could call your vet and explain the situation to them. They may be able to give you some advice by phone. Will watch for your update later!  Hope he is feeling better soon.

I called the Vet and they said to try some bland rice and ground meat and if he is still not feeling well tomorrow, to bring him in.  Thanks for all of the concern.  I have never had a dog that has eaten anything like this before.  I will update again tomorrow.  Lets hope he is feeling better and back to his crazy self!

He  is so cute! I'm glad you have a plan for him.  And keep in mind that if he seems to be worsening after your vet has closed that you can always take him into the ER rather than waiting until morning. Fingers and paws crossed for a quick recovery!
