Update on Henry! No Cancer!

Thank you for all of your support and prayers. What a lovely community you are! Henry does not have cancer. The vet called this morning with the pathology - it is a histiocytoma and it is benign! Also we think his throwing up problem is unrelated and he is doing better using raised bowls and a new low residue food. Yay Henry!

I have an Uncle Henry who is 99 years old. Maybe there's something about having the name, Henry, that brings good health and longevity.  What wonderful news!

We are so relieved. Henry did, however, lick at his wound and got it infected (yuck!) now he has the cone of shame - but he actually likes it! We got him something called a comfy cone and he does not fight it at all.

Oh, that little rascal! Those incisions can get itchy though! If we ever need a cone I'm going to try one of those comfy cones. Our previous dogs had to use the hard ones and they were brutal for the dogs and the people!
