Do dogs like music?

I recently read an article that claimed that dogs like music, especially classic music like Mozarts songs, LOL. The article also said that they don't like speedy and wild music. I tried the theory out by giving Bailey a massage while listening to the music, he got really relaxed but I can't know if it was because of the music or the massage.
I think it's a very interestning theory and I wonder if any of you folks have noticed how your doodles react when you turn music on. Tell me about it?
And of course different dogs could have different taste in music too.

Our dog loves music. It makes me laugh. Once One Direction came on and she stopped what she was doing, sat pretty, and looked at the radio with her head turned! So cute!

Can't say I've ever really noticed any reaction from our girl...but whenever we go out we always put the music channel on for her:)

Our 3 love music! They each have different preferences, it is pretty funny to watch them either perk up and join us or leave to another room. 

The boys love when I play the piano. 

We also always use classical music with our foster puppies at night to help them relax. I think it really works nicely.

I'm a child of the 70's during which time there was a movement concerning the psychology of plants. I remember a discussion about plants thriving with music, and the question of what music they preferred. The answer was that they grew better when you where playing music that you liked, because the plants were picking up on your happy vibes. I think dogs must be a lot the same. If the music makes you happy, relaxed, etc., it will have a similar effect on the dogs.

Have never tried Mozart, however,  every single night, I put on my Nora Jones Pandora station for Bay & Buzz.  They love it!  As soon as the music starts they lay down, like on cue!  Works daytime, too!
