The thundershirt was the best thing I ever bought for Bear. Here in Florida it storms pretty much nonstop during the rainy season and it helps him so much. Once I put it on him he just lays down and falls asleep. I love that thing.

I think I will order him a thundershirt

Ours adults aren't phased. Maserati hasn't experienced thunder since he hasn't ever been out of Alaska! I guess we will see what he thinks of thunder soon enough. (We're moving)

My mini, Guinness, is afraid of fireworks and thunder storms.  He shakes and won't leave my side.  I didn't have good luck with the thundershirt, but I know it has helped lots of Doodles, so I would give it a try.  I do my best not to make a big deal out of it.  I stay near him but I don't "over sympathize".....I don't want him to get the idea that I think it's a big deal.

You really need to get them used to the Thundershirt  before they need it.  I try to put it on her as soon as I hear the forecast not as they start and it works better.

Thundershirt works great on Jasmine. She used to hide behind chairs or under the table when it started to thunder, but not any more.

She looks so cute in her Thunder Shirt

There is NO real cure.  Try the Thundershit or Rescue Remedy, or seek out a vet and have them prescribe meds if you know in advance a bad storm is coming.

You can ease some of the effects but not all.
