New to the forum - First time owning a dog in over 10 years

Hi everyone. Just thought I would introduce myself and my puppy. My name is Josh and my puppy is named Loki. I found this site while looking for information on Golden-doodles and am here to learn about the breed and to become a better owner. I'm sure I will have tons of questions as my puppy grows. Looking forward to meeting everyone and their dogs.

Loki is 10 weeks old and weighs 8.6 kg. He is an F1 Goldendoodle. He has a thick somewhat fleecy looking coat with a poofy head and a smooth snout. I have seen lots of puppy pics where they have the start of long facial hair but Loki does not. I am super curious as what type of coat he will have when he is older. Maybe a guess from some of the experienced owners on this forum?

Welcome! Loki is quite handsome. He is likely to change coats several times before he is full grown. Try searching coat changes in Doodles and you will see amazing pictures of transformations in their coats - but their amazing personalities are always consistent so I commend you for picking a Doodle all coats aside :)

Adorable! She looks quite a bit like my Oscar did at that age, he is now 16 weeks, his half brother Barkley is 19 weeks and they look nothing alike. They have the same dad, a 12 lb poodle but Oscars mother is an american golden, Barkleys mother is an English golden. Curious what Loki and Oscar will look like in 6 months.. I look forward to seeing pictures, have added a couple showing Oscar at 8 weeks and I think the other one with his brother is about 2 weeks old.

What a cutie!  His coat looks similar to Luna's did at that age, although Loki is a bit fluffier (possibly just because he's bigger).
