Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Welcome to puppy madness! I think it would be a great idea to all post a little about yourself and your doodle. Photos are ALWAYS welcome.
Thinks you might want to share:
1) Your Name/Doodle Name
2) Location
3) Doodle type (goldendoodle/labradoodle; mini/standard; F1/F2)
4) Doodle age/weight
5) Photo
6) Anything else
Would also be great to come back here as your doodle ages to respond to your comment and post updates for age/weight/photos etc.

Hi I'm Susan - I've been on doodle kisses for nearly 4 years when we got our first beautiful medium multi-gen chocolate ALD Bosco, who sadly and tragically passed away in November, at which time we were led to the newest ALD who we were blessed to have joined our home as of yesterday. Coby was named in part for Bosco and in part for Casey, our yellow Lab we had gotten in 1996 who was with us for 14 years and watched our kids grow up when we lived in central NJ. We've been in Scottsdale, AZ for 7 years now where both of our ALDs came from a wonderful breeder in Tucson.
Coby is a mini apricot with white markings, is 9 weeks old, weighs 5.8 lbs having been born on Thanksgiving night, "coincidentally" the same night - and time - that Bosco chose to leave us. She has been amazing since we brought her home yesterday, acting as if she's always been truly right at home here -- took to her crate immediately, been peeing/pooping in her designated spot outside, eating and drinking well, sleeping peacefully. She goes to our local vet tomorrow and is flying off with us next Saturday for a month of training with the amazing Aly Rodges of Alys Puppy Boot Camp outside of San Luis Obispo. I'll pick her up in March and know I'll already be missing her but that I'll be getting a fully trained and even more amazing pup when we reconnect; all the time we're apart we'll be getting daily videos.
She's already a loving and much loved family member!
Hello doodle friends. My name is Ashley. We have three children, two boys; one 14, one almost 17, and a little girl who is 8.
Our doodles are Sadie and Coal, who are litter mates. I know... We didn't get the memo, and it is too late now! And I might be a little OCD, so this is going to be FUN!
We live in North Carolina.
Sadie and Coal are black, F1 Standard Goldendoodles, mom a black/silver poodle and dad a golden retriever. We expect them to be between 55 and 65 pounds when fully grown. This might be a low estimate. ;)
They turn 11 weeks old tomorrow and will get weighed at the vet again Friday. I'm guessing around 12 lbs for Coal and 11 for Sadie. They had almost doubled their weight the last time we went. We have had them for a while... Longer than we should have according to what I've read!
Things are going well, though we are working ourselves silly keeping them separate in an effort to avoid litter mate syndrome. They seem to be adjusting easily to being taken out of the house and in the car separately. They are always happy to see us, but even happier when reunited with each other. We have enrolled in puppy classes, which start shortly after they have their last round of shots. We also have them signed up for puppy daycare, on separate days.
Both puppies have learned to come and sit (with minor distractions), and we are working on our down-stay at present. Loose leash is a bit of a challenge... we have experienced a few short successes. My new motto is, "I have a pocket full of kibble, and I'm not afraid to use it!"
I am very thankful to have this site to help us through the stages of raising our precious pups. I thoroughly enjoy looking at all of the photos of your amazing doodles.

Hi,
My name is Elaine and partner is Lori. We just got a 9 wk old labradoodle. We already have a goldendoodle who is now 12 yrs old. Our goal is to have the puppy become a therapy dog. His name is Oliver and he is all black. He is a busy boy but I just retired so have the time and motivation to train him thankfully!..lol.....We are members of several other groups here but decided this would be a fun one to be in too since its been 12 yrs since getting our Mattie. We live outside of LA in the SGValley. Iam a newly retired RN and and probation officer. At the moment we don't have a pic but will shortly to post. Oliver is brite and almost too smart!! lol..........We are in the midst of potty training and leash issues as most are in this group. Fun times!. He is almost as busy as my two grandsons were at 1 yr old!! lol.....
Am grateful for this group now~.........Elaine
Hello all, This is my 13 week old F1B standard goldendoodle, Hoka. He is currently 19 lbs. We live in the Chicago burbs. We have another adult dog, Moxie, who is a terrier mix, 13 lbs. They are fast friends already.
We sadly lost our 8 year old F1 standard doodle, Tinker, in the fall due to a brain tumor. He was awesome, and I can only hope Hoka gives us half as much fun and love.
As you can see from the picture... I hope Hoka cannot read or he will think I bought him very expensive matching personalized chew toys!
sooo cute!!! enjoy!
Wow! What a sweetheart. And he has his own shoe to chew on! Love!
I used to live in Hyde Park Chicago before I moved to Portland. Miss it.
