What a beautiful collection of redheads we have! I love this color doodle. Everyone comments on Sage's beautiful color! What have you noticed about your red/apricot doodles? Were you specifically looking for a redhead or did your redhead find you like Sage did with us? What would you like us to know about your doodle?
It's a new year and a new doodle group. What could be better?!

Hi All!

Truman is our Apricot-colored Doodle & he joined our family back in July. He's our fourth & has a special place in my heart because I am a redhead, too!

He has a fantastic temperament and his favorite thing to do is carry objects proudly from one part of the house to another and then present them to you at your feet. He looks up into your eyes & is just so satisfied with his accomplishment. Of course we reward him with heaps of praise. His favorite thing to "present" lately is our shoes/slippers. He does not chew them, but if you slip off your shoes and don't put them away right away, you'll likely have one go missing pretty quickly. That is, until someone else in our household gets the present a few minutes later!

We wouldn't trade him for anything!

Our girl is an apricot/cream labradoodle. We got her in July and love her to pieces. My husband asks her all of the time if she realizes how much she is loved? Of course she does because she is the best dog ever! We actually did not care what color puppy we got. We signed up on the waiting list for the next litter and the Mama just happened to have reds, creams, and apricots. We were lucky and got to actually go pick our girl out. It didn't quite work out that way though. When we got there she picked us. We haven't had a dull day since. She is a contant source of joy and such a clown dog. Wouldn't trade her for the world!
Grover found us a little earlier than we had planned. We had wanted a second and this color was top on our list, but no one local bred them, or so we thought. We hadn't planned on looking until spring 09, when Scrappy will be 2........coincidences led to us bringing home a little red bundle of joy in July 08. He's a fantastic pup with the temperament of an older dog......very mellow and loving. We couldn't be happier with him. At 7 months, he's just over 65 lbs, so we're looking forward to seeing what size he'll be and what his adult coat will look like. Now he's very wavy and a dream to brush!

Hi ! Emmy is our red Goldendoodle. She is 91/2 months old. We already own a Cream/Apricot Doodle. He will be 6 years old in March. We wanted to add another doodle to the family. We searched for breeders and found the red color. My husband fell in love!! We wanted a deep red color. It was hard finding a breeder that had this deep red. We finally found one and was put on the waiting list for 3 to 4 months for another Male. We went out and bought new toys and picked out a name Duncan. When it was time to choose a puppy, my breeder suggested a female to us. She was so cute! We could have picked our male, but we went with the breeders choice for us. She is very out going and can be very stubborn at times. She is quite different than my male. She will cuddle by you for a bit, but not for too long. She loves her toys and is a chewer. She pulls all the stuffing out of the soft stuffed toys and is always trying to get the squeaker out! My male is very gentle with his toys and has never ruined one of them. We now give her natural bones and kongs. Once in a while, she will still find a soft toy on the floor and shred it apart. We get allot of comments about her color, when we take her out for walks. People just love it !!
