Some of you have shown interest in this camera that sandy b first turned me on to in the "Discussion of Zoom Lenses" discussion. sandy b and I both purchased this camera. Mine came to day. Here are a few right out of the camera shots from this afternoon/tonight.

Wow these are really beautiful, I love that first shot!
Thanks Camilla.
Sweet! I do love bird photos! Of course the little reddish finch steals the show with his color, but they're all good. Just a curious thought... I wonder which one would stand out if they were all turned to black and white. Things that make me go, 'hmmm'.
Thanks Deb.
This is the male osprey (dad) with dinner!! I wish I hadn't cut off his tail in this shot but love the eyes.
We have 2 chicks & they're older than we thought since the oldest is spreading his wings. You can just see the younger to the left.
I also monitor snowy plovers on the beach. Our beach is divided into zones for easy walking/monitoring and I spotted this little snowy this past Monday. Actually found 6 all resting in the sand. They are endangered and Sanibel has approx 14 nesting pairs. Hopefully we will have a great nesting year!
Wow, these are terrific! One of my all time favorite places to go! Lucky you to experience this on a daily basis!
