We took Yogi to the grandson's soccer and baseball games this weekend. I am still amazed at how many people came up to us to ask what breed he was and could they pet him. Many wanted the breeder information. I've seen this mentioned before, but with the winter keeping us in more than I'd like, this was really the first time we'd been out around so many people for so long. Doodles are such loveable, people friendly dogs. Everyone thought they were his favorite person of all. He made us proud, he was so well behaved.

Btw, I was sure to inform everyone that if they did look for a doodle, to look for a good breeder.

Love that story! I still can't believe that with all the hype about doodles, some people have never heard of them!

I've had a few people ask if Hudson is a Wheaten. Wheatens are adorable so i take it as a compliment!!
I know I can't resist going up to a doodle - it's just so necessary! :)

Yogi is such a handsome doodle! Of course everyone wanted to give him some loving! :)

I live in a very dog-obsessed neighborhood in Chicago and every walk we go on (at least 2-3 a day) we get questions about him. People can't help but smile and stop us to pet him. And Hudson soaks it up. He loves all people and other dogs and can't get enough of the attention on our outings. Needless to say, socializing him was a cinch!
We've had a number of people ask if Enz was a Wheaton. One lady went so far as to ask: " are you sure she is not" ? LOL
Other guess have been Old English Sheepdog. But mostly, we get Labradoodle. And when I say " GoldenDoodle", we get a WhataDoodle???

Must be those California people, Ro! You and Enzo get some of the funniest commentaries out in public!

LOL...I swear...I attract all the goof-balls!

Love the picture and how could anyone not want to pet Yogi?  He is so adorable!  I bet he had fun at the games too.  When we take Libby to our granddaughter's games she gets so excited.

I had a couple of people ask me if my dogs were Wheatens this past week.

Yogi...what a sweet, sweet boy you are...too cute!

Sam is an attraction when we walk in downtown Carmel, CA. Everyone wants to pet him and he is always happy to oblige! He is particularly fond of the little humans and will sit and lovingly look at them and eat up all the attention they give! I always get the, "What kind of dog is he?" I have heard Wheaten, Water Dog, and Labradoodle. Just the other day we met another goldendoodle on our walk and the 2 of them standing there drew a crowd. They were simply stunning together!
