New Foster!

[Emily, Bentley, & Maserati]

Meet Sophie! She is a 4 year old Goldendoodle. This sweet girl will hang out at our house while we find her new family. She was an owner surrender. Her owner fell and broke her hip and has to move into an assisted living community. Our rescue group offered to foster her until she healed, but she has decided she is not able to live on her own and will remain in assisted living. She has no living family members which is why she decided to surrender her companion.

Beautiful doodle, thank you for helping by fostering.  I am sure she will find a lovely home.

My family and I have agreements that if something should happen to any of us, we will take each others dogs.  it is a given that if they couldn't care for their dog, I would take her instantly.  3 would be a crowd but we'd make it work.

She is so sweet - thank you for taking her, Emily!  As some of you know, I am Libby's Godmother.  Her mom and I were college roommates - we go WAY back.  If, God forbid, something happened to Libby's mom, she has taken care of everything in her will.  I get Libby and (not that I cared) the money to take care of her.  Of course I would have taken Libby regardless of the money.  When I get my own doodle, we will make the same plan in reverse.  It's a hard thing to think about but once you have a plan in place, it just makes you feel more secure.

It is a hard topic, but I know we found peace after our plan had been made so we can rest assured our 3 furbabies will be well taken care of!
