The HDA Medal has arrived!

What an exciting day we had this week when we discovered a box had been delivered to our front door! It soon became clear this was not just any box, it came from Cheryl and Finnegan and contained the HDA medal along with a box full of goodies! Jackson and Jilly were on it and their sniffers were sniffing!

When I first came across the DK site, we had already had Jack for a few months. I started reading the discussions and found my way through the Groups and I was hooked! I poured through the Food Group and still keep a copy of the approved treats on hand. The Training Group taught me about CGC and we started working toward our new goal. From the Grooming Group I learned about all the supplies that have helped everyone and made my lists. Gardening has always been a passion and when I posted one of my first questions about mushrooms, well who knew that Karen and F would know all about them! : ) The Photography Group is a favorite. And then there's the Jersey Doodle Group folks and all of the people we have met and the ones here that make up DK that have truly touched my heart. I've had the privilege of meeting a good number of DKers and consider them as my friends. You have helped when I have reached out with a message. I have laughed with you and share your sorrows and I thank you for all you have taught and shared.

We are so honored to find the HDA award at our doorstep and Cheryl & Finn just went beyond! There are yummy treats and balls and Fleecy Man as Finn calls him for Jack and Jilly! A beautiful museum book and note cards of Bucks County artists, a Doodle tote bag from a favorite pet shop in Frenchtown and Cheryl even managed to find doodle flip flops that look just like Jilly that are hysterical and a super velvety doodle beach towel that looks like Jack! We are set for our next Sandy Hook Beach Romp! We cannot thank you enough, Cheryl and Finn!

The new HDA medal is just gorgeous, thanks Adina for all that you do! The journal is another wonderful part of the HDA experience, I plan to go through it again before it is signed and passed on! With a lick for good luck from Jackson and Jilly, the medal will soon be on it's way! Thanks so much for the honor!

CONGRATULATIONS Janie, Jack and Jilly!  How exciting and so well deserved!  Your pictures are AWESOME and my favorites are the one where the two of them are looking up with the box below them and then the one on the couch with the three of you!  How special all your goodies are and what a fun surprise!  The towel is adorable and I'm sure Jack and Jilly are really enjoying their treats and toys!   Cheryl and Finn really know how to pick out a perfect HDA box!  So happy for you!
