Easter on Parade (Edited)

On Sunday after lunch we got in MY car and drove and drove. We finally got there and got out. We had to wait for the go light in the cross walk.

Then we got to Monument Avenue. Look at all the people. Something must be going on.

There were people wearing funny hats. Mom said they were Easter Bonnets.

There were lots of dogs. Some were wearing decorations.

We stopped and sat on the curb...

And, listened to some live music.

Mom found some pretty flowers.

There were some "flamingunnys".

And a huge figure on an upstairs porch looking down on everyone.

I got to pose with a Easter Bunny in someone's yard.

When we got home I ate dinner and slept all night. It had been a very fun afternoon.

Anne, I wondered where the pictures were.  I'm glad you got them loaded because this is a really fun series.  Mr. Haley with the Easter Bunny, the flamingunnies, and the egg hat are my favorites. I wish we had an Easter on Parade near us - the boys would have loved it!
