Penny gets picked up Friday!

This has been a tough experience for me because I am a teacher and the summer is the best time for a new puppy, so I can actually spend time with her and get some training in. So after our wedding in March, I started searching for puppies! I had no idea that goldendoodle breeders fill up with 6 month waiting lists! We got on one list as spot 6 and the mom only had 5 puppies. So it was back to the search & I found another breeder in Tennessee that was ready to send home puppies May 2. Lukcilly we are going to be in town for a wedding that weekend, so it worked out perfectly. We live in Florida, so this has been rough because we had to make our pick through pictures & videos only. I actually finalized my decision yesterday on her!

As you can expect, the anticipation is killing me! The long wait is finally over and I can meet my Penny Doodle! :)

Great choice, temperament is so much more important than looks, besides she could end up being the perfect look for you in the end. It's hard to tell as puppies. Honestly Yogi was not the best looking of the pups, but today I think he might be. My breeder uses his 7 month old picture on her website :-)
