Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

A friend of mine shared the below link of two adoptable senior Labradoodles in Bellevue, WA on facebook:

http://olddoghaven.org/adoption-placement/dogs-available-for-adoption/

Wanted to share it here hoping someone might be able to help out.

Here is what the posting says:

Snicker and Sami are Australian Labradoodles. Snicker just turned 12 years old, he is 50 pounds. Sami is 10 years old and she weighs just 32 pounds. This pair has been together since Sami was a puppy, and would like to remain that way. Snicker and Sami have both been very well socialized, having gone to doggy daycare for years. They’ve been good with respectful children but have not ever lived with cats. Being younger, Sami has a little more energy but both enjoy going to the dog park and getting out for some exercise. Both can do stairs and stay alone for a work day without needing a potty break for about 6-8 hours. Snicker and Sami would like to go to a home, however, where someone is around more often; they are both very loving and affectionate dogs. This sweet, bonded pair of lifetime friends are posted for their owner in Bellevue. ODH has not met these dogs; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.

Email placement@olddoghaven.org for more info.

I took the picture off the Old Dog Haven website and added it here. They are very cute.

Embedding the pic. Look at those smiles!!!

What sweet doodles. This is so sad and I hope they find excellent, loving homes.

I can't even try to imagine giving up Taquito - who is 10 years old with kidney disease. That guy would just die without us (unless he went to my parents or sis, whom he adores).

Unless something unforeseen happens to us, I can't imagine ever getting a dog where they are not with us to the end.  I will hold Tacky in my arms when he takes his last breath. Same for Peri.

Sorry I will get off my soapbox.  Just been thinking of death and animals lately - what an uplifting topic!

How sad for these sweet doodles. I hope they find a wonderful loving home.

They are just so sweet looking. Im sad for them for this disruption in their lives. I hope they can stay together.
They are both so sweet and happy looking

Poor sweet doods.  I hope they find a loving home together.

This is too sad.......they look so happy - how can someone give them up?  Not judging as I don't know the story, but still.......

This is beyond sad.   There are things that happen in life that are beyond our control, but I can't imagine that these sweeties couldn't be integrated into a familiar neighbor, friend or family member's home.  I hope they find a loving home.

This truly breaks my heart....they remind me so much of my Guinness and Murph.  There is nothing I can do but pray they find a home where they are loved.

They remind me of G & M, too.

Me too!

That was my first thought when I saw their photo.    Poor darlings......
